Description

Known as “The Stitch Witch” Lynette Harris is well known for her distinctive hat and easily spotted at all the major quilt shows.

She shares with us some of the inspiration that she sells on her stand – from the simple idea of folded triangles to create 3D baubles which is a workshop on the site to creating a small picture panel book.

Other ideas include a small cot quilt kit made with crazy dog panels, sampler patterns on the quilt-as-you-go method both Spring and Winter, her Dahlia cushion kit in peach (or in pink) which is a great use of coloured fabric and shadow quilting. You can find each in our website.

Also she making good use of foundation piecing in her Oval Mariners compass pattern, through to using stick-on bias to create a range of celtic designs or learn how to create your own in another workshop Lynette did for us. Then she moving on to stained glass patchwork with her Butterfly and/or The 3 Kings project, which also you can find in our website.

At the end she gave good tip – start small. That way you won’t be interfaced by the size of the project and can get it finished.

Thank you Lynette.
