A quick and easy way to finish your project that avoids using any binding.
Description
Fast edging for your patchwork projects
This is a great little tip for all projects – including quilts. Valerie used it on her Trip Around the World quilt that did not need too much quilting once it had have been turned.
No need for additional fabric for the binding. You can always stitch round close to the edge as part of your quilting to give the impression of binding.
This tip is extracted from a longer workshop where Valerie makes a tablemat with the Tiger Tiger pattern from Oakshott fabrics.
