Block 5 of Rosebud Fayre Medallion Quilt
In this section Valerie demonstrates how to make the Flying Geese blocks used for the border. There are tips on how to place fabrics around the medallion to make a square quilt. As well as suggestions on leaving the side borders off to make a rectangular bed quilt.
The corner star square is made from four flying geese units which they have coupled with a plain rectangle.
For more tips on how to use Flying Geese. There are two other great workshops with Valerie: Fast Flying Geese, No Waste and Modern Flying Geese Quilt.
