Not all quilts need to have small, competition stitches to make them look wonderful.

Utility quilting is perfect for today’s modern quilter as it is quick and easy; it is a way of using thick thread and large stitches to finish your quilt and being large stitches it gets finished that much quicker!
In this workshop Carolyn shows you how to start the stitching, the stitches themselves and how to finish off – all three important stages of the work.
Carolyn goes through the equipment needed – needles, threads, hoops, pins, and marking implements – and some of the pitfalls to avoid as well as her personal choices.
