Utility quilting is perfect for today’s modern quilter as it is quick and easy. It’s a way of using thick thread and large stitches to finish your quilt. And being large stitches, it gets finished that much quicker!

How to stitch

In this workshop Carolyn shows you how to start the stitching, the stitches themselves and how to finish off. All three of these are important stages of the work.

What you need

Carolyn goes through the equipment needed: needles, threads, hoops, pins, and marking implements. She also talks about some of the pitfalls to avoid as well as her personal choices.
