This is the third in our beginners series on the technique of knitting.
Description
The purl stitch is another of those must-have stitches if you wish to knit. It allows you to create a flatter piece of work than if you just use the knit stitch. When used in the combination of knit one stitch and purl one stitch, they can create the rib of a garment.
Rosee shows you clearly how to create this stitch and in the next video in the series you will be treated to the final part of casting off.
