Description

Patchwork & Quilting at Hever Castle

This show took place in the grounds of Hever Castle in Kent. It was a celebration of 20 years of quilting in the grounds.

In the quilting marquee we are treated to the delights of the quilts made by members of Region 2 of the Quilters Guild. There was also a table of inspiration for the Young Quilters and a stand by the British Quilt Study group.

The Region hold an annual competition and in that year the title was ‘In A Country Garden’. We can enjoy not only the quilts but also talking to Dorothy Thompson, who was the maker of the winner in the Judges Choice category.

If you would like to know more about the Quilters Guild, you can visit their website to find more information by clicking here.
