Following on from the success of our block printing retreat weekend, we paid a visit to The Arty Crafty Place in Oxfordshire. Tess and Holly made us so very welcome.

They shared with us their passion and enthusiasm for all things block printed and I learnt that you can block print into clay as well to make delightful ceramic decorations. Holly was also busy making tiles for a splashback for their new sink.

Tess showed us how to make a lampshade and print a tote bag. She also showed us a tea towel project using the Meadow Scene set of blocks. The Arty Crafty place sell ready-made blanks or kits for all these projects and they offer a bespoke block printing service where you can order your own design to be made through them – so get drawing!

You can check out their little world of gorgeousness on their website: https://theartycraftyplace.co.uk/ or check out our Shop where we have some of their ready made kits available – click here
