Valerie introduces us to Rosee Woodland. Our a new knitting expert. We get to learn about her projects, her love of scandi knitted work, and the retreat she is involved in with us. On the same day, Valerie brings us a beneficial technique for creating fast and accurate quarter square triangles. She used to make her quilt, which in turn was inspired by the cushions created with the Fruity Friends Makower fabric.
On Thursday, May 10th, our throwback from the archive features Dawn Cameron-Dick introducing her brilliant Pocket Guide reference book. It has sections on wadding, needles, threads, and machine in a handy tote-around size. Especially useful when shopping or visiting quilt shows.
Then on Friday 11th May, we return to the studios with Jennie Rayment. She shares with us a lovely Stripey Octagon block she created at the specific request of one of her students and uses the EZ acrylic template. We have two new free knitting videos from Rosee Woodland. It will show you how to slip stitches and how to slip stitches and how to do yarnovers.
