Description

In this workshop Sallieann shows you how to make accurate half-square triangle units;  these units are used extensively in patchwork and you will find the technique is needed in future blocks in this beginner series,  such as Churn Dash, Shoo Fly and Road to Oklahoma.

Sallieann takes you through the process of sewing the units; pressing them; and then sewing the three rows together which will include some plain squares.

You will need to sew with an accurate 1/4″ seam allowance – to learn how to do this – click here.

Fabric requirements are available with our Promo video  – click here for details

We have this same colourway of Fat 8ths available from Oakshott Fabrics available to purchase in the Shop – Forest Fruits ( left), as well as 7 other colourways that the quilt would look equally stunning in. Click here to view the options available  and just pick your colourway from the selection list

In addition – you could purchase background fabric and sashing – click here

Finished size approx 60″ x 70″

This block, along with all the others  in sampler series, can be repeated to create a quilt in their own right – just make lots either in the same colourway, or various.
