Hilary Beattie is a very talented artist and author and she has planned a fantastic textile weekend of collage and stitching for you making these simply gorgeous pots and flowers which are easy and great fun to make. You will need a sewing machine for this.
Valerie Nesbitt of Justhands-on.tv is inviting you to an Open Sewing retreat where you can work on whatever you like and you will have full access to Valerie’s expertise as she’s on hand to advise and assist you. You could bring your own project – maybe one that you’ve got stuck with and have been wanting to finish for ages or work on a new project – maybe be inspired by one of hers – perhaps her Crazy Patchwork or the Asymmetrical Sampler.
A textile weekend for £395 pr person
Classes will take place in the hotel from 10 – 4 on Saturday and 10 – 4 on Sunday AND you can sew until late, late, late on Saturday evening if you want.
Lunch and refreshments will be served both days including a buffet lunch and a 3 course dinner on Saturday and breakfast and a buffet lunch on Sunday.
Every attendee will also walk away with a special goodie bag.
