This is a simple patchwork block which can easily be made from a jelly roll and Valerie shows how.
Description
The simple patchwork block is made with units that are 2.5″ x 6.5. So it’s perfect to cut from a jelly roll. Then you create the angles with simple stitch-n-flip. It’s perfect for beginners and accomplished sewers alike.
Valerie takes you through the process of creating the small block which uses three units. She then suggests that you piece these together in fours, to create a spin in the design.
Having cut off the ears of your units, don’t through them away as Valerie has some great ideas of what you can make with them – Using Mini scrap offcuts.
