Description

Strip piecing is a technique that is just perfect for combining the rotary cutter and your sewing machine.

Great for beginners as the seam allowance doesn’t matter – it is unique to you!

Use up strips from your stash or that jelly roll you have been fondling for a while! 2½”strips are perfect for this.

In this video Valerie also shows you how to keep the strips straight by using a thread saver, and by ensuring that you are square to your fabric to cut those all important squares.

If you aren’t familiar with the idea of using a thread saver, then check out the tip we have on the site by clicking here.
