Description
This simple technique also gives your quilt some movement, since the borders seem to be spinning.
Also known as Trip Around the World border, this technique requires slightly shorter strips than adding borders the more traditional way of two short side and two longer sides, since on a square quilt all the measurements are the same.
Valerie shows how to calculate these borders and how useful they can be.
Sewn with a partial seam technique which is easier than it looks. If you would like to learn more we have a workshop on this for you to enjoy as well as another on the Bright Hope Block itself.
