Description
This is row 10 of her story quilt to here she uses the Long Hexagon shape together with triangles to create a straight seam.
This sandy beach does come with ice-cream but they will be coming later!
In this row Jennie shows you how to use the EZ Quilting Long Hexagon template which you can link with a 60 degree triangle to create straight seams. The templates comes with flat noses so that you can be really accurate in your piecing as well as save yourself fabric – and there is no maths needed either – you just follow the numbers.
There is a little trick that Jennie shares with you too about joining that diagonal seam.
Jennie likes to press the seams open – and if you do too, then you might like to think about the Strip Stick.
To learn more about the Long Hexagon Shape – just click here where you will find it has it’s own little video plus design inspirations from Jennie.
