This delightful little cushion is created in Hexiform – which is hand sewn English Paper Piecing with a difference – and comes complete with the fabric option shown.
This small cushion uses the traditional English paper piecing sewing technique but with Hexiforms.
The finished project size is 9″ x 7″
The kit includes fabric as shown, pre-cut shapes, pre-cut fabric hexagons, bag inner lining, freezer paper, wadding, instructions and beading embellishments.
Hexiform is a unique alternative to the papers traditionally used for English Paper Piecing. Not only is it easier to sew, but you leave it in.
Hexiform is fabric based and is easier to handle while sewing. Your needle doesn’t blunt in the way that it does with paper. It also prevents shadowing as the seam allowance is covered by the hexiform shape. As you leave the hexiform in place, the project has a plump luxurious effect. It is also fully washable.
