These 50w  cotton threads have 200 (220yds) on each spool and we have chosen 4 plain colours and one varigated ; perfect for quilting (and of course for piecing but why would you want to hide these lovely colours!)

AURIfil have been maufacturing a high-quaity 100% Egyptian Mako cotton thread since 1983.

Each spool of AURIfil cotton Mako is mercerized – which enables fibres to contract and increases the efficiency during the dyeing procedure.

The result is a high sheen thread with a great washing resistance uncomparable to other cotton threads available on the market.
