Stained Glass Patchwork with Paula Doyle
This clever idea from Paula Doyle has you making stained glass pictures without using any bias strips. Paula shares this really easy technique with us. All you need to do is be able to trace, cut out and iron. Then you get to sew with a simple zig-zag stitch. This is a super use of scraps of fabric – particularly the bright ones. These will contrast exceptionally well with the black stained glass effect. Watch Now+

Clamshell patchwork with Jennie Rayment
Clamshells are a mixture of patchwork and applique and last week, Jennie Rayment showed us a couple of methods that you might like to try. This technique can be done by hand or by machine. Whilst traditionally these shapes have been sewn in a row, Jennie now suggests we might like to design our own pattern with this shape.
