In this workshop, Valerie shows you how to use up some of those pre-cut squares and/or layer cakes to create this quilt. This is simple four patch and rectangles, coupled with rows of squares and then joined with sashing – simple components to create a very versatile quilt. Raggy Edge quilts with Gail Penberthy
These quilts are very tactile. They use quite a deep seam allowance which gets cut into. This means you don’t have to worry about being overly accurate with the sewing. Working in fleece, it also means that the edges don’t fray Gail loves to use this fleece for the applique motives as well because it’s simple and easy. Watch Now+
