Meet Helen Howes
Helen Howes is a very passionate modern Quilter, who loves improv blocks and loves to share her passion for this new and exciting development of our craft. Like many of us, Helen makes quilt for pleasure, but she also like to ensure that we can all follow the simple mantra -yes you can – and her trimmable blocks mean that is certainly very true. Vintage pinkeepers with Mandy Shaw
In this lovely workshop from Mandy she shares with us a great idea for making little pin keepers and she has found a great use for the old, but beautiful embroidery that is often lurking in cupboards. They are easy to make and you get to learn about ladder stitch and blanket stitch – both stitches that Mandy uses a lot and finds very useful.
