Lattice Windows with Jennie Rayment

Jennie’s back today in our new video and she’s been twiddling and tucking. Using an idea from her book Tucks and Textures 2, she takes a piece of fabric, makes a tuck across it and then squashes the tuck to create the lattice effect. Hand piecing A Tumbling Blocks Quilt with Valerie Nesbitt

Throwback Thursday 

Valerie shows you how to add the  binding strip to your quilt, and how to do the mitred corner, which will give your quilt such a professional finish. She’ll guide you through using the walking foot, simple quilting on the quilt,  marking your quilt and the use of stitches, the seam allowance necessary and, most importantly, how to create the mitred corner to give a perfect finish.Watch Now+
