Strip Roll Bargello Cushion with Valerie Nesbitt

Jelly rolls and bargello – what a great combination. This week Valerie shows you a cushion from Karin Hellaby’s bargello book that uses an 8 strip set of jelly roll. She shows you how to play with the colours and then follow Karin’s instructions to cut the strips from your cylinder. The pattern then starts to appear because of the size of your strips and where you undo your cylinder.  Watch Now+

Basic Double Crochet Stitch with Jane Czaja

This is one of the basic three crochet stitches that Jane Czaja says you need to know.  Jane guides you through how to work this stitch. She starts with your foundation row of a chain and then works upwards on her small demo square. She has a great tip for ensuring that you don’t miss a stitch at the end of the row. English Paper Piecing Corner Catching technique with Nancy Adamek

This is a really easy way of inserting the papers for your tiny EPP hexagon pieces and you can leave the thread in too! You no longer have to tack through the papers.
