Making Orange Daisy Crochet Flowers with Jane Czaja

Jane Czaja has gone all floral with us this week, getting you crocheting flowers. Here, Jane demonstrates how to crochet a basic six chain and double crochet to form the inner ring to provide a solid base for crocheting the daisy. Jane uses an Aran cotton for her demonstration and how changing the needle and yarn size can produce a variety of flower sizes. A lovely handmade addition to any card, present or bag. Watch Now+

Making Pink Daisy Crochet Flowers with Jane Czaja

She continues her flower series with the crazy daisy, lazy daisy flower. She starts her flower with the simple chain and double crochet centre. She subsequently uses a chain stitch to produce a ring of petals. Why not use these flowers to embellish other projects such as hats, gloves and clothing. Yo-Yo Caterpillar from Jennie Rayment

This workshop with Jennie is a child friendly way to use up scraps of fabric and wadding to create the simple Yo-Yo design. It’s just one of a range of fun toys that can be made from this simple Yo-Yo design (called a Suffolk Puff in the UK).
