Description

This pre-fused tape is so very easy to use with the help of a small iron.

Lynette guides you through how to trace off the pattern onto either light or dark fabrics, and then how to cope with the corners.  As the tape is made on the bias, it can be manipulated round corners beautifully.

Once ironed into place, the tape does need stitching and you can do this by hand or machine.  If you do it by hand, Lynette suggests using toning thread and just anchoring the tape to the top layer of your project.

If you are going to use the sewing machine, she likes to layer the project up with wadding and backing. She then stitches through all the layers. This will give it a textured/quilted look. An easy way of stitching close to the edge of the tape is to move your needle position  and you could also think about using some of the decorative stitches on your machine.
