Halloween Goody Bag with Kate FindlayWith Halloween approaching and the children on half term, Kate Findlay shares this Halloween inspired goodie bag with you which is great for children to make too. Kate feels it is suitable for those 7 years and older (!); perfect for Halloween with the pumpkin design on the front but this could be adapted for any season/occasion. The stitching has been done with the machine but could just as easily be done by hand with a blanket or even a running stitch. The pumpkin template is available for Paid Subscribers Watch Now+ Halloween Ghost T Shirt with Kate FindlayKate also has a second Halloween workshop to make this simple painted T-shirt, which can be done with and/or for the children If using white paint on black you may find you need several layers to get a good coverage – so a little bit of patience maybe! You could also ring the changes by adding day-glow paint, or indeed 3D paint – the embellishment options are down to you! Again there are some free templates available to download in the workshop notes for paid subscribers. You could of course use these simple templates to create fast, fused applique shapes too.
