A Redwork Embroidery Show and Tell with Gail Penberthy
Redwork embroidery is an embroidery backstitch, so it’s very simple to do. Today, Gail shares with you a wide range of ideas which can be worked in the traditional red, but you could also be a rebel and work them in coloured threads too. Gail also suggests making the patterns in fused applique. Watch Now+

Christmas panel tablemats with Valerie Nesbitt
Valerie has been looking at different ways to create table mats. In this workshop you start off with the small pre-printed panels as a focus and then add half-square triangle units. She makes them easily with her favourite method of Thangles. This means the seam allowance is really accurate. She also shows you how not to worry about the funny size of the panel. Valerie suggests that you could make individual mats, join them together to form a runner, or make a quilt – pre-printed panels are not just for Christmas! Watch Now+
