Description
This lovely needle case is inspired from traditionally sewn cathedral windows.
This is a lovely quick make. It uses a rather obscure folded patchwork technique that has been little utilised over the years ( in Sallieann’s humble opinion). It involves both machine and hand stitching and is probably more suited to someone of an intermediate level rather than a beginner.
The needlecase is formed using a patchwork background that is overlaid with bias strips. These bias strips are simply pushed back to reveal the “Liberty chain” patchwork fabric pieced block below.
Needle case finished size when folded is approximately 5 ½” square.
