Tudor Rose Part 1 with Nancy Adamek
In this jam packed workshop (and this is only part 1!) Nancy starts you off on her lovely table runner. In this workshop she takes the 45° jewel and sews it around an octagon and creates the star. She also guides you through her fabric choices, talks fussy cutting and guides you through the paper piecing process. Watch Now+

We also have the Octagon Acrylic fussy cutting template available in the Shop Buy Now+
Owl Bunting with Jennie Rayment
Have fun with these lovely Owls. You can make them your own by choosing different styles and fabrics. Plus it’s a great way to use up scraps of fabric. So, you can use buttons for the eyes and bits of ribbon for the legs and small bits of felt and fluff (stuffing/wadding). Also, why not get the kids involved as they can be hand stitched. The kids can then have fun embellishing the bunting with bits from the scrap cupboard. Watch Now+

Crossing Points with Helen Howes
Another of Helen’s clever ideas using pre-cut 5″ squares (but you could take layer cakes too and subdivide them). Make a lovely quilt, turn the squares into a bag or table runners, all easy to make and your choice. At the end too, you can trim all the blocks to be an identical size, so a great block to share and make a group quilt. There is also a free pattern download available Watch Now+
Throwback Thursday
Sometimes we are unsure of how to put the various blocks of our quilt together. Valerie shows you a number of quilts and designs which will hopefully inspire and inform you. Traditional sampler quilts have their blocks separated by sashing. Simple quick quilts can have the squares separated by sashing. Valerie also shows you how to ensure that the vertical sashing remains in a lovely straight line across the horizontal sashing – no wobbly lines allowed! .Watch Now+
