Fruity Friends Cushions with Valerie Nesbitt
This week Valerie brings us a super new workshop creating bound cushions designed by Lynne Goldsworthy using a fun new panel and fabrics from Makower called Fruity Friends. It uses these lovely picture panels and Valerie helps you with making quarter squares that are used around the panel There is also a free pattern to download for both paid subscribers and members Watch Now+

Kitty with Valerie Nesbitt
This lovely quilt was designed by Judith Hollis of Just Jude Designs, using the Kitty range of fabrics from Makower. In this workshop Valerie talks to you about various elements of this quilt, Including how to accurately create the centre pieced block, the checkerboard border and the outer Drunkards Path. Valerie also gives tips on how to use the paper templates for this as well as just using 3 pins for the sewing. There is also a free pattern available for both paid subscribers and members Watch Now+

With Gail Penberthy at the helm, our group of ladies enjoyed two days of sewing in first class surroundings. Our Book of the Month for April is Curves to Quilt by The House of White Birches.
