Well this video is an introduction and a beginners guide on how to turn a piece of patchwork into a quilt; Valerie talks about the things you need to do and also the options you need to think about:

• layering to get ready for quilting
• stablizing the layers ready for quilting
• to quilt by hand or machine
• type of thread to use – either by hand or on the machine
• where to quilt
