How to Use the EZ Quilting 60 Degree Diamond Template with Jennie Rayment
Template and Ruler Demonstration Series with Jennie Rayment • Educational, G, 01-Jun-2016
With this 60 degree angle diamond and rotary cutter, you cut diamonds from strips of fabric so easy peasy! The template is multi sized and allows to cut triangles from 1″ up to 5″.
Tumbling block is a classic design created from 3 diamonds and the 3D and created with colour light, medium and dark.
Jennie uses 2.5″ wide fabric, which is in fact a jelly roll, and she cuts several layers at once which is what the rotary cutter was designed to do easily and accurately.
Uses what is known as a Y seam to sew it together. The same template is used to create the 6 pointed star.
This is a favourite traditional pattern which looks really good with a wide variety of fabrics such as scrap.
You can find information about patterns in our website.
Jennie has used this template a couple of times in her series Jennie’s Stripy Stripey Story Quilt.
