Description

Sugar and Spice Project part 6: Stitch and Flip blocks

Karen demonstrates another of the components for the Sugar and Spice project. The Stitch and Flip corners method. Building on a basic half square triangle to create a block with added interest.

This method a variation on the half square triangle block created earlier in the series. Enables the creation of a versatile block that can combine 2 or 3 fabrics for a new twist.

Karen reminds us of the importance of matching seams and pressing proficiently to enable the seams to nest. The finished block creates a square in a square that looks like it is on point.

A great component of the Sugar and Spice quilt but also a block that would enhance any other quilt.

A beautiful book accompanies this project click here for details
