Strip Piecing with Scraps
This is a very simple idea inspired by the left over fabrics from the jelly roll strips that were a prize giveaway from Fabric Freedom. By being able to trim the squares back to being very accurate, the quilt goes together really easily. And the added twist of setting the rows on point give more movement. You can even add another fabric for the setting to give yet more flair.
For those of you who like gadgets, the EZ Companian Angle template allows you to cut the setting triangles from strips easily and accurately with the rotary cutter.
Rotary Cutting Turntable
With all that squaring up, the turntable rotary cutter really comes into its own.
