TASTER: Nifty Handbag with Jennie Rayment
FREE Tasters (Textile Art) • Educational, G, 15-May-2020
In this comprehensive workshop Jennie guides you through the steps to create a nifty handbag. You can also adjust the size to suite your needs.
Jennie suggests you think about pre-quilting the fabric for the outside of the bag. She has a very helpful tip on how to use the quilting guide on your sewing machine. She then talks you through how to create not only the curved design but also how to create a flat bottom to your bag .
You then add the closing tab in between the bag and the lining and the handles go on at the end.
So – bags galore – happy sewing.
