More easy kitchen-top dyeing ideas from Angela Daymond – this time using Brazilwood to create a pink effect on the fabric plus a touch of shibori.
Angela uses Brazilwood to give the fabric a ‘pink’ colour in her dyeing workshop . She uses string to give this lovely shibori effect. If you are old enough to be a ‘flower child’, we would call it tie-dyeing! As an added bonus, don’t forget that the string will also pick up some dye colour so you can use it in another textile project.
