TASTER: How to Make a Maltese Cross with Jennie Rayment

This is a delight to make and as Jennie says “you can have an awful lot of fun with it”. The template itself comes in 3 sections and Jennie shows you how to use it.
It’s a great use for your scrap and not difficult to make; and it makes a great hand sewing project.
Jennie also gives you ideas on how to play with your fabric colours for different appearances and as the template is clear, you can even fussy cut your shapes on the fabric to get exactly the piece you want,
She also has some great tips and shows you how to deal with curved seams when sewing it all together whether by hand or machine and she shows you how to finish off the block by pressing the seams once all sewn together.
