Advent Calendars
As always, a fun time will be had in this workshop with Mandy, where she shows you how she makes her dollies ‘the American way.’
Three different dolls and angels, plus the lovely Ruby pajama case and Robin the Teddy Advent calendar
Mandy also has an advent calendar called ‘Twas the night before Xmas’, where they look like beds but are pockets.
More about Mandy Shaw
Mandy teaches a wide range of classes in her delightful home in Hailsham, East Sussex, and training in many other venues in the South of England. Discover the charms of Redwork, explore a wide range of Christmas quilts, novelties and seasonal banners, and designs, and get Buttoned Up! One of her most intriguing sampler quilt designs is the Harriet Tubman quilt telling the story of this famous 19th-century lady and the Underground Railroad.
To quote Mandy:
I am a mad and passionate woman
Who makes all things lovely.
I sew every day and
Smother my poor family
With quilts and bears.
I cheat, and I use glue,
I use plaids, and then I use orange
Also, I love folky but do whole clothes.
My enthusiasm is infectious. Let me share it with you.
Mandy has also written many patterns, created kits for her inspirational designs, and has just published several books.
