TASTER: `Autumn Is Calling` Patchwork Quilt with Valerie Nesbitt
FREE Tasters (Quilting) • Educational, G, 05-Nov-2021
Valerie shows you the how to make this stunning quilt. It uses the simple snowball block and a block Valerie calls a Ladder block. The great thing about this quilt is that you can re-scale the blocks to be any size you want. All you have to do is just remember to make the ladder block first. Then you can cut the snowball block the same size.
The ladder block is made up of a nine-patch block using plain squares and half-square triangle units. Valerie chooses to use Thangles to create her half-square triangle units. This means that she can cut her plain squares and snowball ears from the same strip of fabric.
