This is another very simple but effective technique that Mary demonstrates for us.
Mary shows us how to pre-paint the papers with transfer paints and you will discover just how exciting and unpredictable the end result is with these.
The procedure is very straightforward and Mary, of course gives you some helpful tips on how to avoid some disasters, but also on how to turn those disasters into embellishment/design opportunites! She also likes to recycle her papers – so nothing is wasted.
You are reminded that you do need to use polycotton (not always something a quilter has in her cupboard) and a hot iron, which needs protection, so baking parchment plays a big part too.
