In this workshop, Mary shows us how to pre-paint papers with transfer paints.  You’ll discover just how exciting and unpredictable the end result is.

The procedure is very straightforward. Mary gives you helpful tips on how to avoid some disasters and also on how to turn those disasters into embellishment/design opportunities!  Nothing here is wasted as Mary also likes to recycle her papers.

You do need to use polycotton  – not always something a quilter has in her cupboard. You’ll also need a hot iron, which needs protection, so baking parchment plays a big part too.
