Videos available from 6th April 2018:
On Friday 6th April we wander round a lovely exhibition that was on tour called “Glimpses of Britain” featuring the work of Gail Lawther in which she captures the appeal of these complex islands in a series of quilts with Valerie acting as our guide. Also, on Friday 6th Valerie brings us a super new workshop creating bound cushions designed by Lynne Goldsworthy using a fun new panel and fabrics from Makower called Fruity Friends.
Our Throwback Thursday feature on April 12th is another classic workshop from Jennie Rayment where she uses scraps of fabric to create her Suffolk puffs (or Yo-Yo-s) and then creates her Caterpillar.
Then on Friday 13th April our new Knitting tutor, Sarah Hatton shows us how to do circular knitting – not as scary as it sounds and avoids any sewing up of seams later. And also on Friday 13th we are back with Paula Doyle in part one of her American Hand Piecing series to create a delightful little 4-block quilt.
