Description

Videos available from 16th December:

On Friday December 16th, we meet Goldwork expert Kathleen Laurel Sage again as she takes us through a highly informative workshop  on applying purls, wires and chippings to your designs; and we get a very useful free video tip from the ever-wise Jennie Rayment about how to make your Rotary Blades last a little bit longer.

Then a week later, we have a free video we recorded live at the West Country Quilt and Textile Show in Bristol last month.  It features interviews with North Somerset Quilters and Ferret with her Long Arm Quilter amongst others and was made especially for our Facebook live feed. Also we have a real treat from the archive as we re-visit The Welsh Quilt Centre in Lampeter and are shown around a stunning Kaffe Fassett quilt exhibition by Welsh Quilt Centre curator, Jen Jones.

On Friday December 30th, as we all recover from Christmas, we have another film recorded live at the West Country Quilt Show for Facebook.  This time our intrepid reporter takes on the Clothes Horse Challenge as she zips around multiple stands trying on some very beautiful hats and clothes. We also have our final film of 2016 which is a really fascinating interview featuring renowned British quilter Chris Porter and Chinese Quilter Angel Yuan Yuan with whom Chris has been collaborating recently.
