Description

This is part 4 and Anne shares with you her way of creating these half-square triangle units with a continuous sewing technique.

You can use your favourite method to create these units – just make sure they are the right size (2″ finished units are needed so the 2″ Thangles that Valerie loves would work too) – but Anne invites you to try her technique which is based on using a large rectangle of each fabric, onto which you draw a grid which in turn allows you to continuously sew the seams of the units and make all 48 at once!

She also talks you through the pressing – which in turn helps with accurate piecing – and you are back to using your key measurement – so don’t loose it!

She also has another fudge factor (always useful)  to help make the band symetrical – you are only making one band though from the two rows of units.
