This delightful project, designed by Gail Penberthy has a finished size of approx 43″x8″ and is a combination of fused applique and simple patchwork

The pattern contains full and comprehensive instructions on all aspects including machine applique (but as this is fused you could also do this work by hand).   Embellishment and finishing is also included but this is obviously a very personal aspect of the project and you can let your imagination run wild.
