Mary is a talented textile artist and patchworker and here we discover some of her talent.
In this interview we get to enjoy a wide range of products and textile items that Mary has made and teaches as well as two lovely quilts: one using transfer painting and the other which was made for the recent ‘Secret Message’ exhibition at Blechley Park in which she uses flexible polyfilla to great effect!!!
Mary is an experienced teacher of workshops and textile classes. She creates an exciting range of cloaks, waistcoats, jackets, dresses and bags for day and special occasion wear which are sold at craft fairs. Each item is embroidered and appliquéd in silk, velvet and luxury threads to offer beautiful individual designs.
