Claire Campion tells us not to be scared by the colour of the thread. A quilt can be lifted by using a variety of threads in different colours. Specifically bringing a design to life using threads that blend with the backing.
Try using more than one colour tread when quilting and go for colours that compliment your fabrics. Surprisingly a coloured 50 weight thread will give a good finish that both highlights and blends in with the quilting.
