Description

This is row 5 of the quilt and here Jennie shows you how to use the Companion Angle tool which creates the interesting shape very easily.

Jennie reminds us that this quilt if Fat quarter friendly – so no excuses about not being able to use up your stash!

The rotary cutting templates used by Jennie  – the Companion Angle and the Tri-Recs set – allow you to cut out your fabric, quickly and easily as well as accurately with the rotary cutter.

They have also been designed to save fabric by having their corners nibbed off, and this also gives you greater accuracey not only with the placement of your pieces together but then with the subsequent sewing.

If you like the idea of the 54/40 Flight or Fight Block then click here to see one that we made with Jennie a while ago AND get to learn a little about the reference behind the block.

(and keep an eye on the blog as Valerie has a work in progress using this pattern!)
