This is a simple modern quilt that takes very little feature fabric – in fact Fat 1/8ths are perfect and Valerie uses a bundle from Oakshott fabrics.
The quilt is simple to make and very achievable for anyone who sews.
It finishes approx 52″ square, so a perfect size to display or snuggle under.
The bundle of fabric used is called Lakes (12 colours)and can be purchased separately as a bundle or, exclusively for Justhands-on.tv as a quilt kit
but there are other bundles of colours that would work equally well – and can also be found in the shop:
Water – green through blue – 12 colours
Platinum – white through greys – 8 colours only
Ruby – what else but red!-16 colours
Italy -shot through with a grey warp -12colours
and don’t forget the co-ordinating threads, again exclusive for Justhands-on.tv, from AURIfil and again available in the shop.
