This is from our archives as part of our Throwback Thursday programme. Lesley shares with us her secret passion and makes good use of the double sided patchwork to create two patterns simultaneously.
Folded Japanese Patchwork is Lesley’s secret passion; she has several pattern designs that take particular advantage of the instant double-sided finish that you get; Butterfly & Kimono; Bluebirds; Sunset bag are patterns you might be interested in trying.
Lesley also shows you how to stitch the double sided pieces together with the really useful ladder stitch (which can also be used to close up any project that has been fast turned).
