Fiona Goble has a clever way of knitting animal toes so that you don’t get left with lots of ends to sew in.
Taken from her book Knitted Animals Scarves, Mitts and Socks, Fiona shows us how to knit the three toes for a tabby cat (but the method is obviously useful for other animals that you can find in this fun book).
She works the toes over two stitches, and has a very clever way of working down the side so that her wool is in the right place for the next toe without having to break it.
