A week full of quilts for a girl and her dog – simple concept that allows you to create your own design.

Inspired by the paper dolls she played with as a child, Janet Clare has created a versatile and inspiring collection of appliqué and embroidery designs all featuring a little girl Freya and her dog Fred.

In this delightful little book Janet guides you through alternative ways of creating the patterns:  hand applique;  machine applique;  free motion stitching and both Freya and Fred (the dog) come as cut-outs which you can then manipulate to create your own designs.

Enjoy a busy week of parties, picnics, baking and playing with Freya and Fred. Look inside the book to find a themed chapter for each day of the week with an appliqué quilt pattern, embroidery and sewing projects, all with full size templates. Create Janet’s unique jointed appliqué templates to make Freya and Fred move and dance across your quilts.

Freya & Fred comes full of instructions and inspiration.
